In addition to her Video Design, Kova introduces 'VideoWindow' mapping idea, that creates an illusion of a real view from out a room. It 'expands' the walls with the 3D special effect, and makes the room brighter and spacious.
Art and design has always been known as a 'soul doctor’. Considering this, Vika Kova creates her bright-light video-experiences to transmit high positive vibrations through visual, audial and odor senses to help to relieve some light-related disorders, such as winter depression. Winter depression is still a mystery to scientists who study it. But researchers agree that people who suffer from seasonal affective disorder are particularly sensitive to light, or the lack of it.
With a click on a remote control, the dark wall might be transformed into any wishfull experience - an ocean beach with your favorite bird-kind or a sunlit fresh forrest view. To accomplish the “realness” of this 3D world, Kova developed a technology that completes the video-experience with sound and odor.
Such a 'VideoWindow' installation is also created to boost the energy level and, therefore, the quality of life.
'VideoWindow' doesn’t require any TV-screens - just an empty wall!
